Low Cost Internet Business Ideas

Cheap and Easy Internet Business Ideas

This hub is all about how to start an online business. There are many different low cost or even free ways that anyone can start their own online internet business, and will go through all of the main ones here to help inspire you with ideas for a new business as well as to give you more information on the different ways that you can get your own website business up and running and how you can make money from it. There are 6 main strategies that I will feature on this page - they can all be great ways to make money, but you will probably find that some are better suited to your particular skills than others.

Private Label Websites

Private label websites, or white label as some people call them, are the best way to set up an internet business quickle, for free, and with the minumum work on your part. The basic concept is that an established website is 'cloned', and you are given an identical copy of the site, along with a control panel that you can use to easily change the text, add a logo, and do other basic customization. The private label website provider will then take a percentage of the money from every sale made from your site, and you will get the rest. Your site will usually be hosted by the company that provides it for you, meaning that you don't need to pay for hosting, and they will also maintain it for you. This means that after a few hours doing the basic customization you can dedicate all of your time and effort to promoting your online business and generating sales.
Tips:
  1. Make sure that you can change some of the text on your site, or add some new text of your own, because without unique written content it will be very difficult to get any traffic from the search engines, which will seriously limit the money that you make
  2. Many private label providers will give you the option of having your business on a subdomain of their website (eg www.yourname.theirsite.com). This is ok, but it isn't ideal. Getting your own domain name should cost you less than ten dollars per year, and is pretty much always worth doing.
For my pick of the best opportunities out there take a look at this free private label hosting reseller website and this free private label mobile phone comparison website (UK)

User Generated Content

If you want to have your own website making you money, but you don't have any stock to sell or any high enough quality content to put on your site to attract visitors, then the best way is to create a user generated content website. Hubpages is an example of one of these, because people sign up for an account and then create pages like this one themselves. You can make a good amount of money from putting advertising on this kind of site (from google adsense or an affiliate network usually), and once it is up and running it pretty much rins itself without you having to keep adding content to keep it fresh.
You don't have to be able to write programming code to do it either, or have any technical skills in fact, because you can use scripts and content management systems that will allow you to easily create an internet business using a simple control panel. If you
There are many different kinds of user generated content sites that you could set up, but here is my list of the best ones, based on a balance ease of use and potential revenue:
Free - The only costs to setting up on of these sites is for hosting and a domain name
  1. Free social Bookmarking Website - Set up a niche social bookmarking website like Share A Bargain, or create a general one to rival the big players like digg!
  2. Free Wiki Website Script - A free way to set up a 'wiki' website where users can write for and edit any page, like wikipedia
Paid
  1. Article DIrectory Script - run your own article directory, just like this one:Spiritual Article Directory

Make and Sell iPhone Apps

Thanks to a new tool called My App Builder you can now make your own iphone apps without any programming knowledge whatsoever. All you need is a bit of creative flair and anyone can build shiny new professional looking apps for the iphone using their control panel. Ans the best bit is that once you have finnished working on your creations you can submit them to apple's app store, and if they are accepted then they will be sold for you and you will get a nice big fat share of the profits. This is a huge industry and can be very profitable, and you won't even have to do the sales and marketing - you just make the apps and then allow them to be sold on your behalf. You can also take a look at my other hub on how to make money from facebook apps

Easy E-Commerce

If you think that you have a flair for art and design then you can use someone like www.cafepress.com to set up your own e-commerce business. You just submit your own designs to be sold on a wide variety of products from t-shirts to bags to mouse mats and loads more. You can start off wityh a free site if you like, or you can pay a few dolloars a month for a more professional shop, and although you start off with it being on a subdomain of cafepress you can get your own domain name and create a more personalized shop.
If you want to set up your own auction website then there are loads of different options out there. For the low cost option take a look at this Free Auction Script
Another way to set up an online shop without having to spend loads of money on stock to sell is to use PLR (private label rights). This means that you pay a modest amount of money to have the right to resell an unlimited numer of ebooks, software downloads, or some other digital product. The only drawback to this is that there is usually a large amount of competition selling the exact same things.

Your Own Content Website

You can also use free content management systems to set up a site that will highlight your own writing or other content. The classic example of this is the wordpress blog, but you can also get other such as Drupal and Joomla for creating more advanced websites. A good hosting account will allow you to set up one of these on your own domain name with a one click install

Business in a Box

If you have a little bit more money to spend to get yourself going then you could consider buying a ready to launch 'turnkey' website, or buying a small start up internet business from an auction site like www.sitepoint.com. Prices start at under $100, but if you want a good quality online business with the potential to make you good money then I would personally advise you to spend at least $200-300

How to start a new business from home, and how to buy product for resale? How to make money from home?

Can you believed that you can make money online without selling any thinks! You just need a computer and a dropshiper. Some people make money by selling product online. If you find the good wholesaler you make more money. It is totally defend on you.

Making money is not very easy as you see on video elsewhere if you do not know how to approach . There are tow thinks that you have keep back of your mine at all time 1. Where can I get it for less price (when go out always search for good product for less price). 2. When is the best time to buy it. Why do not you go and find wholesaler from UK. They can sale more cheaper then store price, and its the best way to start your own Business.

How to get good product for less price and when to buy:
1. Research. When buying in bulk (i.e a pallet of returned goods) you MUST do your research before purchasing. As you will see from below sites there are hundreds of different pallets and many different options. It is crucial that before buying you look at every good listed in the pallet online and whether you think you would be able to resell it. There is no point buying a pallet full of women's slippers if they don't even sell on ebay.

2. Do your Maths. Most of the pallets and wholesale goods listed on below sites are sold in auction format. Work out what you are going to receive in the pallet, how many of each item and the minimum you could sell them on for. Set yourself a profit percentage you want to make and stick to it.

3. Start small. Well as small as you can buying in wholesale. If you haven't done it before then be careful to make sure your first wholsale pallet purchase is relatively small one i.e under £100 if possible. Your profit may not be great on it however you need to make sure that you possess the correct mentality to sell on the items and put in the time and effort as some items won't sell themselves. If you struggle to get motivated by it then at least you won't have gone bankrupt and you don't have to do it again.Affiliate Programs: How to Make Money Online with Other People's Products

4. Check your items. Very important to check all your goods when they arrive or you pick them up for 2 reasons. The first is to ensure everything detailed on the auction has arrived. Many pallets and wholesale obvisously have many, sometimes hundreds of items. Make sure all are there. The second is to check what works. If you are buying returns and used goods - you are going to come accross items that don't work. Its the risk you take. Whilst many returns are fully working and 100% fine don't be disheartened when some aren't working.

5. Get Handy. When you have worked out what items aren't working or have a small part missing its time to do something about it. Don't just throw them away. Some items may just have something small thats wrong i.e needs a new plug re-wired or a new box. If you can't fix them or don't know someone that can fix them - fear not. You can still make money. The best way is to either advertise them as faulty on ebay - many people who are D.I.Y friendly look to buy these. Also why not keep any ones you can't fix and if you have enough sell your own 'returns' pallet on ebay or elsewhere.

What is Dropshipping?

If you've arrived at this page wanting to know about dropshipping, then I hope to answer all your questions. But more than this, I want to show you that this incredible way of doing business is now truly available to us in the UK. So, what is dropshipping?
Let us imagine you have a side-line business in which you sell crystal gifts. You market these via your own web site, and on internet auction sites such as eBay and QXL. You buy your stock of goods from your supplier, advertise and place auctions for what you have available and hopefully receive orders for your products. When you get an order, you bank the payment and pack and send out the item to your customer. You replenish your stock as and when you decide is necessary.
Enter a dropshipper i.e. a supplier who offers a dropshipping service. When you join with a supplier who will dropship, YOU hold no stock. The dropship company holds the stock. You market your products as normal e.g. on your web site and on Internet auctions. When you receive an order, you simply send the agreed trade price for the product sold to the dropshipper, together with details of your customer. The dropshipper packs and mails the item to your customer. When the customer opens the package, it appears as if it came direct from you i.e. there is nothing to tell the customer that the item came from the dropshipper.
The benefits of dropshipping to you are:
+ You don't need hold any stock - ever
+ You buy and sell in singles - you don't need to purchase in bulk to achieve trade pricing.
+ More choice in what to sell - the dropshipper's catalogue of products will give you much more choice than you can ever have as an individual small or sideline business owner.
+ No expense or time investment in packaging parcels - this is all done by the dropshipper
+ Never visit the Post Office again - mailing is handled by the dropshipper.

The advantages of dropshipping are therefore pretty substantial. It's no wonder in the USA that one of the dropship 'bibles', the Drop Ship Source Directory, contains over 700,000 products and includes around 2,000 brand name suppliers.
In the UK, dropshipping is in its early stages with a handful of dedicated dropshippers, and also a few companies who will supply their own products on a dropship basis.
The problem in the UK has been that very few people are aware of who the dropshippers are, and even fewer people knew which companies would supply on a dropship basis.
This is where my Special Report comes in.....
My name is Brian McGregor and I have tested many so called money-making schemes over the years. You name it, I've bought into it - MLM, loan agency, trading stocks and shares, fruit machines, telecommunications, energy savings, Internet schemes etc etc. I knew about dropshipping in the USA, and was keen that UK entrepreneurs should have access to the same scheme.
Until very recently, there really was only one dropshipper in the UK. But this is growing gradually, and I have now brought together the most comprehensive list of UK companies offering dropshipping services.

How to Avoid Being Ripped Off on eBay?

It is important to remember that eBay is a lot like a marketplace. There will always be a dodgy guy in the corner, selling things that most people wouldn't touch. The trouble is that, on the Internet, these people can be a little harder to spot. Here are ten tips to help you keep an eye out for the rip-off merchants.

10 Ways to Avoid Being Ripped Off on eBay.

1. If it seems too good to be true, it probably is: This holds for everything in life, but especially for eBay. Things that seem too cheap are usually too cheap for a reason it might be a complete scam, or the items might just be of extremely poor quality. Investigate before you go further.
2. Know the value of what you want to buy: There are people on eBay who regularly bid such high prices for used cameras that they might as well have gone out and bought them brand new. Check around for prices first.
3. Only bid on real things: eBay has plenty of people who are trying to sell all sorts of schemes and scams. It is never worth bidding for these, no matter how cheap they might be.
4. don't do anything outside eBay: Occasionally people will ask you to send them money outside eBay, to avoid the fees eBay charges sellers. Any money you send this way is entirely insecure don't do it.
5. Be careful where you send payment: People may hack into others accounts, and ask you to send payment to addresses that eBay has not confirmed as belonging to that account you might send your money and receive nothing in return.
6. Look out for sellers who suddenly change what they sell: Sellers can look like they've made lots of transactions, when really they've never sold anything of worth. If they suddenly start selling $1,000 televisions, steer clear the chances are they're planning to run off with the money.
7. Beware the shill bidder: If someone who doesn't seem to have bought anything before is constantly outbidding you on a certain item, be suspicious. It might be a seller shill bidding to force up his items price.
8. don't use the sellers escrow service: If an escrow service is recommended to you by a seller, it could well be owned and run by them and they're quite likely to keep your money and send you nothing.
9. Pay electronically: You are more likely to be able to recover any losses if you pay using a credit card instead of sending out cheques and money orders these low-tech payment methods can't be tracked as easily.
10. Buy from reputable sellers: Each seller has a number next to their name, which is their feedback rating. The higher this rating, the more you can trust them. On that last point, feedback ratings are the most important way that buyers and sellers can protect themselves on eBay and you, as a buyer, have a rating too!
Now that you won't get ripped off, the next article will be all about your rating, and what you can do to make sure people know that you're not going to rip them off either.
